Just Jared: What is your reaction to Rachel Reilly‘s sudden eviction from the house via a competition and not via the traditional BB route where you’re nominated, get to compete for Veto, campaign for votes, etc.

Mickey: Yeah, honestly, I’m just as shocked as everyone else. I do know that obviously Rachel did not want to make it that far just to be the first one in the jury house, especially not without having the votes. So I do hate it for her, to be honest, just because they say expect the unexpected, you don’t think to expect that type of stuff, right? So I do hate that that happened to her. And I mean, I hope that she’s doing well in the jury house, of course. But I do think she could have at least got the right to go out on some votes. I agree with that.

Just Jared: In a past exit interview with Parade, you actually said about Rachel, “I believe in equality I think people are created equal and I don think she lives or breathes that model especially in the house.” Can you elaborate on this, what did you you mean by that?

Mickey: So what I mean by that is, I do know that Rachel Reilly is the creme de la creme of Big Brother. I was not privy to her prior to me being in the house, of course, but I do think that when we were in the house, I think that we were required to maybe focus more on her legendary status than us just being able to connect with her as a human, if that makes sense. And I think what made her and I not click as well as I wanted us to in moments, because I think overall we got along decently well. And of course, I still care about [her] greatly. I think she’s a great person. But I think what allowed us not to click as greatly is because I didn’t know her status. I didn’t know who she was outside of the house. And I chose to just treat her as just another human being like myself. And I don’t think she loved that, just because I know some others [were] kind of…praising the ground that she walked on. And I honestly was just connecting to her woman to woman. And I think maybe she would have preferred it to be a little differently. And I mean, I’m sorry, obviously, that I didn’t know more about her prior to coming in the house, but I kind of just connected with everyone just as humans, like I would want them to do with me.

Just Jared: There is a clip floating around Twitter (aka X) after you lost the the BB Block Buster. Your back is turned to Ava and it looks like she is celebrating that you lost. Did you see Ava celebrating in real time when you turned around?

Mickey: No, I didn’t see the celebration once I exited the house. I saw it on obviously the feeds and things that people were sending me. Yes I saw it after, not during.

Just Jared: Were you surprised by how she reacted?

Mickey: Honestly, no. I’m not surprised at all. I think Ava…again love her…I think she was so much fun in the house but I do think she made it very obvious when she had a lot of disdain for people and I was amongst that lucky bunch of course. But still treated her with nothing but kind and love in the house…She’s human, so she’s entitled to feel how she wants to feel, but I’ll never talk about her in a different way, even though she did the same for me. It is what it is.

Just Jared: When Julie Chen announced your eviction, you did seem surprised. However, you spent weeks being put on the block prior. Were you really shocked you were eliminated or did you think you had the votes?

Mickey: Honestly, so I was still shocked. I’m not a silly girl…I did know that I was the house target of course. It’s very obvious that I was someone that people saw as a threat. That’s Big Brother. I think what shocked me the most was the vote count. I do think [I would have gotten more votes] than what I got, so I was thinking I would have three votes. That’s kind of what I went in thinking. If I sat next to Ashley, despite people saying they had me, I thought I at least had three, but to have one, that’s what boggled me the most for sure.
