Alex Warren is a winner!
Moments after walking the red carpet at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards with wife Kouvr Annon, the 24-year-old “Ordinary” singer was named the winner in the Best New Artist category.
“I truly did not … thank you so much. What the?” Alex said after pre-show host Nessa presented him with the award.

“I don’t even know what to say to you right now. I pooped twice today; I might go for a third,” Alex hilariously confessed. “I’m about to cry. I don’t know; this is amazing. Thank you so much!”
Alex was nominated alongside Sombr, The Marías, Ella Langley, Gigi Perez, and Lola Young.
His song “Ordinary” is also nominated tonight for Song of the Year, Best Pop, and Song of the Summer.
