Sydney Sweeney is celebrating the release of her newest movie.
The 27-year-old actress plays professional boxer Christy Martin in her new movie, Christy. The movie premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival on Friday (September 5). Following the premiere, Sydney was spotted heading to an after-party to celebrate the film’s premiere.
Sydney was joined by Christy for the premiere where the film was given a standing ovation.
At the premiere, Sydney opened up about training for three months and drinking “a lot of milkshakes” to prepare to play the boxer on the silver screen.
For the after-party, Sydney kept her look simple with a glamorous black dress, soft curls, and a pair of matching black heels.
