Saquon Barkley is entering his second year as an Eagle, and all eyes will be on the star running back as he’s set to open the 2025 NFL Season against the Dallas Cowboys.

While watching the 28-year-old Philadelphia Eagles running back play, you may be wondering a bit about his personal life. He announced his engagement to to his longtime love Anna Congdon right around the Super Bowl! If you don’t know, the Eagles won the 2025 Super Bowl against the Chiefs back in February.

Anna and Saquon have been together since 2017 and they share two children.

The pair met while attending Penn State University, where Saquon was the star running back on the team. They went Instagram official in 2017.

In April of 2018, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Jada. April of 2018 was a huge month for Saquon, as he was drafted to the New York Giants just days after his daughter was born. You can see photos of Jada in the gallery below!

In September of 2022, they welcomed their second child: a son named Saquon Jr.!

Leading up to the Super Bowl, Saquon announced that he had proposed to Anna.

He told People, “I can’t be the athlete I am and have the success I have so in my career without the help of her. She’s been super helpful and always has my back, not only in football but throughout life there’s a lot that goes on. But as we continue to grow and mature and go through life together, we continue getting closer and continue to get even better.”

He added, “And it’s a beautiful thing because we have two amazing children that we were raised it and we just sit back and laugh sometimes when they’re over there playing and just smile and think about where everything started.”

She is very supportive of Saquon, having been photographed at his games and standing by his side during his big moments!

Saquon signed with the Eagles in 2024.
