The stars of the original Broadway cast of Hamilton are back together to celebrate their movie’s theatrical release!

Lin-Manuel Miranda was joined by nearly every member of the original leading cast for the premiere event on Wednesday (September 3) at The Public Theater’s Delacorte Theatre in New York City.

Also in attendance were Phillipa Soo (with husband Steven Pasquale), Daveed Diggs (with wife and original ensemble member Emmy Raver-Lampman), Renée Elise Goldsberry, Christopher Jackson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Leslie Odom, Jr., Okieriete Onaodowan, and Anthony Ramos.

Jonathan Groff was not there as he was busy performing his current Broadway show Just In Time.

The theatrical release of Hamilton expands upon the version available on Disney+ with the inclusion of “Reuniting the Revolution,” an exclusive special prologue to the film featuring all-new interviews with the original cast and creators as they reflect on the impact the show has had on their lives.

The movie’s director walked the carpet with his very famous wife!

Hamilton will be released in theaters on September 5, or you can always stream it on Disney+ at any time. The stage production is also still being performed on Broadway and around the world.
