New ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ Poster Debuts at D23, Rey Gets New Lightsaber
A brand new poster for the upcoming movie Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was unveiled during the D23 Expo and you can see it here.
The audience at the panel on Saturday (August 24) also were among the first people to see new footage from Episode IX. We have heard that the crowd was wowed by the new footage, which included the first look at Rey’s new double-sided lightsaber.
The poster shows Emperor Palpatine looking over Rey and Kylo Ren fighting.
Daisy Ridley and several other cast members were at the event to debut the new content. Stay tuned as we bring you more coverage from D23.
You can see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it hits theaters on December 20.
