Roger Howarth is heading to The Young & The Restless!
On Thursday (August 28), it was announced that the 56-year-old Daytime Emmy-winning actor has joined the CBS soap opera.
As of right now, details about Roger‘s character and storyline are being kept under wraps. According to Deadline, Roger will begin filming in mid-September and will make his debut later this year.
Keep reading to find out more…Roger has starred on several different soaps throughout his career. From 2001 until 2010, he played Paul Ryan on As the World Turns then went on to play Todd Manning on One Life to Live on and off from 1992 to 2013.
After One Life to Live was canceled, Roger crossed over to General Hospital as Todd Manning before he started playing the character of Franco Baldwin. In March 2021, Franco was shot and killed off the show, but Roger stayed on, playing the new character of Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt.
Gatlin-Holt was then killed off GH in 2023.
It was recently announced that this fan-favorite actor is returning to General Hospital!
