Ryan Reynolds seemingly just dropped big news about the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The 48-year-old actor appears to have confirmed that his beloved superhero character Deadpool is joining the Avengers.

Ryan took to his Instagram account in the early morning hours of Tuesday (August 12) to share a photo of the Avengers logo with an “A” spray-painted over it in red. That looks like the work of Deadpool!
The post has no caption and no other details were revealed.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released in theaters on December 18, 2026 followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027. These release dates were just recently pushed back.
The cast of Doomsday was announced by Marvel earlier this year and there are so many stars reprising their superhero characters in the upcoming movie.
Ryan recently shot down speculation that he’d ever be in an Avenger movie.
“If Deadpool becomes an Avenger or an X-Man, we’re at the end,” he told Time. “That’s wish fulfillment, and you can’t give him that.”
