Noah Centineo to Star in ‘Rambo’ Prequel Movie ‘John Rambo’

Noah Centineo is gearing up to play an iconic action hero!

According to Deadline, the 29-year-old will be staring in an upcoming Rambo prequel movie, John Rambo.

This iconic film character was first created for a 1972 novel before being brought to life on the big screen by Sylvester Stallone. Since the release of 1982′s First Blood, Sylvester has appeared in five total Rambo films. Now, Noah will be stepping into the role.

Deadline reports that Jalmari Helander will be directing the film and that shooting stars in 2026. Plot details are currently sparse, but it’s being reported that Sylvester will not be involved in this prequel movie Noah will be playing John Rambo and the movie is set to show the character’s origin story during the Vietnam War.

Even though Noah‘s breakout role was in Netflix‘s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, he’s no stranger to action flicks. His most recent role was in A24‘s Warfare.
