Venus Williams has confirmed she’s engaged to Andrea Preti!
The 45-year-old tennis pro was interviewed after winning a singles match on Tuesday (July 22). During the interview after her big win, Venus casually revealed that she’s engaged to the 37-year-old actor and producer.
The two have kept their relationship private, but rumors that they were engaged have been swirling for several months. Now, Venus is confirming that all the rumors are true!

Following her match, Venus was interviewed about her return to tennis by Rennae Stubbs. She asked, “You are now an engaged woman. So, how has Andrea helped you in this comeback? You’re happy, a smile on your face. I mean, how much has he made a difference in your life?”
“My fiancé is here and he really encouraged me to keep playing,” Venus responded.
She went on to say that despite wanting to quit the sport, Andrea has encouraged Venus to keep playing.
Venus said in the interview, “There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill. Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? You guys don’t know how much work goes into this, like it’s 9 to 5 except you’re running the whole time. Lifting weights and just like dying and then you repeat it the next day. So he encouraged me to get through this and it’s wonderful to be here. He’s never seen me play.”
Venus and Andrea join several other celebrities who have gotten engaged recently.
