Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Emotion’ Anniversary Show Draws Incredible Demand, With More Than 90,000 People in Line for 500-Person Venue

Carly Rae Jepsen will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of her Emotion album with a one-night-only show at an intimate Los Angeles venue and there was incredible demand for a small amount of tickets.

The album features such hits as “I Really Like You,” “Run Away With Me,” and “Cut to the Feeling.” Carly plans on performing the album “front to back” along with surprises and appearances from “extra special guests.”

The show is scheduled for August 19 at the Troubadour, a special L.A. venue that holds about 500 people.

Tickets went on sale on Friday morning (July 18) and there were so many people in line for tickets that Carly could have sold out a football stadium instead. More than 90,000 people were reported to be in the queue for tickets.

Resale tickets on Stubhub are now going for more than $1,700 each.

Fans are hoping that Carly will add shows or even book a bigger venue to do another anniversary show!
