Neil Patrick Harris, James Corden, and Bobby Cannavale are returning to Broadway this year in a new production of the play Art and rehearsals have begun!

The three actors gathered for the first time last week in New York City to kick off the rehearsal process.

Here is the play’s synopsis: “Three longtime friends. One ridiculously expensive painting. Is it art, or is it just the world’s priciest inside joke? What begins as a polite debate over aesthetics and taste devolves into a clash of egos and resentments. Can their friendship survive, or will one of them finally draw the line?”

The original production of Art opened on Broadway in 1998 and starred Alfred Molina, Victor Garber, and Alan Alda. The production won the Tony Award for Best Play and ran on Broadway for more than a year.

The upcoming revival of Art will be directed by Scott Ellis. The 17-week limited engagement runs from August 28 through December 21 at Broadway’s Music Box Theatre. Tickets are on sale now!
