The trailer for Dakota Johnson‘s latest project is here!
Splitsville hits select theaters on August 22, and out everyone on September 5.

The film had its world premiere at the Cannes Premiere section of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival back in May. As of right now, it has a 71% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
IndieWire gave it a B+, saying: “Even when beats feel underwritten, Marvin and Covino’s script is so consistently funny it doesn’t really matter.”
THR said: “The movie never gets too outlandish or silly, revealing how well Covino and Marvin can reap cinematic chaos while remaining firmly in control of their art.”
Variety said: “The push-pull kinetics keeping these increasingly raddled lovers together and apart eventually turn from manic to strenuous, not least because viewers are likely to be less invested than the film is in their final formation.”
And if you’re going to see Dakota‘s latest film Materialists, stay for the end credits!
