
Damson Idris is speaking to rumors of him playing Black Panther!
The 33-year-old F1 movie star has been linked to potentially be the next actor to take on the mantle in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after the late Chadwick Boseman.
Letitia Wright‘s Shuri then took on the mantle in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
While promoting his upcoming F1 movie on the Today Show, Damson was asked about the possibility of playing Black Panther.

“There’s some speculation out there in the universe that you could be cast as the next Black Panther,” anchor Craig Melvin said. “Have you had any conversations about that? Yes or no?”
“Yes no,” Damson responded, to which Craig said, “By the way, the yes no means yes.”
Damson then replied, “Uh, it could mean no.”
“It probably means yes,” Craig added, switching his approach to ask the question, “If they asked, would you say yes?”
“Yes,” Damson said.
Just recently, it was confirmed that Denzel Washington will be joining the cast of Black Panther 3.
Earlier this year, a producer on the upcoming Marvel project addressed rumors surrounding recasting T’Challa, after Marvel previously said they wouldn’t.
