Ayumi Hamasaki is speaking out about viral rumors.

The 46-year-old J-Pop icon, who is currently touring Asia, issued a statement following rampant speculation that she may have had a child with the world’s richest man, Elon Musk.

If you didn’t know, one of the 53-year-old billionaire’s former partners, Ashley St Clair, claimed that he fathered a child with a Japanese pop star, resulting in tons of guesses online about who it might be.

The conservative influencer and mother of the Tesla CEO’s 14th known child made the claim in a New York Times report.

“He made it seem like it was just his altruism and he generally believed these people should just have children,” she said.

She also alleged that Elon had expressed concern over declining birth rates and indicated he was willing to donate sperm to anyone who asked.

Now, Ayu, who has still never revealed the father (or fathers) of her two children, is speaking out via Instagram Story.

“My child’s father is not Elon Musk,” she wrote, via Sora News, before remarking how she understands why people may think it’s her.

“My mother laughed at me and said, ‘The news seems like it’s about Ayu-chan,’” she said, adding that she would have thought the same had she been someone else.

“I’ll put my image aside and I’ll deny this properly because it would be no good if my child were to Google it someday,” she added.

In another Story, she said she’s receiving a “storm” of amused messages reacting to her statement.

Elon has 14 known children.
