General Hospital‘s Kate Mansi is officially married!
The 37-year-old actress, best known for playing Kristina Davis on the ABC soap, just tied the knot with producer Matt McInnis in a surprise wedding at Redbird on Saturday (May 31) in Los Angeles.
The couple invited 115 guests to what they thought was an engagement party, only to be stunned when “Let’s Get Married” by Bleachers started playing and the ceremony began.

Kate and Matt transformed the space into a “secret garden” setting, filled with candlelight and lush greenery. Custom details included a custom arched mirror with a Mary Oliver quote (“I did think, let’s go about this slowly… But bless us, we didn’t”) and a violin cover of Taylor Swift’s “Lover” by her friend, Giovanni Mazza.
The bride wore a Newhite gown from LOHO Bride, and later changed into a vintage cocktail dress from her great-grandmother for the reception. Matt switched out of his “decoy” suit into a custom look by childhood friend Ian Firestone and Saint Laurent cufflinks.
Famous friends in attendance included Britt Robertson, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Shelley Hennig and Alley Mills. Close friend Thomas Dekker officiated the ceremony.
The couple first met at Shelley’s birthday party years ago, and have been a “24/7 international operation” ever since.
He proposed last July with a Michaela Angemeer poem, “To the Love of My Life.” He’s currently heading to London for an Amazon MGM project, while she continues her role on General Hospital and preps for her directorial debut.
