Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Jenna Johnson is revealing some details about payouts and contracts on the fan favorite ABC reality competition TV show.
On “The Morning After” podcast, Kelly Stafford asked Jenna, “Do you get paid more for winning?”
She replied, “No. Whoever makes it to the finale, you all get paid up until then. And you do get a nice bonus.”
Kelly then asked if pros get eliminated in week 1, do they stop getting paid?

Jenna then responded, “You’re guaranteed until a certain amount of weeks.”
She then added, “I think there’s different contracts, so I can’t speak for everybody. But, if you make it all the way to the end, you’re getting paid the whole season, which is amazing. And you get a bonus on top of that for making it to the finale. If you win, it’s not like you win a million dollars and split it with your partner. You’re just getting a cute trophy together.”
Salaries for the season are reported to be around $1,200 to $1,600 per episode for the pro dancers, and then can make up to $100,000, though these numbers have not been verified.
