Teddy Swims commands the stage at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall for back-to-back sold-out nights on May 27 and 28 as part of his I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy tour.
The Atlanta-born soul singer had the crowd on its feet as he powered through fan favorites like “Devil in a Dress” and “Hammer to the Heart.”
In a touching moment, Teddy opened up about his past struggles with addiction and how music — and therapy — helped him navigate his darkest days. “I’ve actually tried therapy,” he shared, as the crowd cheered him on. “This tour, this music… it saved me.”
A surprise moment mid-set had the audience screaming when a random song was picked for the band to cover — and they delivered a smooth, soulful rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You.”
Of course, no Teddy Swims show would be complete without a powerful performance of his breakout hit “Lose Control,” which had the entire venue singing along. He closed the night with the emotionally charged “Goodbye’s Been Good to You.”
Teddy recently broke the Billboard Hot 100 record for the longest running song on the chart of all time. “Lose Control” made history with its 92nd week and counting, with a record 63 weeks in the Top 10.
