Ariana Grande to Star Opposite Ben Stiller & Robert De Niro in Fourth ‘Meet the Parents’ Movie

Ariana Grande has booked her next movie role!

On Friday (May 30), it was announced that the 31-year-old Wicked actress and singer will be starring alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro in the fourth installment of Universal’s comedy movie franchise Meet the Parents, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Keep reading to find out more…Blythe Danner and Teri Polo, who also starred in the first three movies, are expected to return for the new movie, but sources say they haven’t closed their deals yet.

Meet the Parents was released in 2000 while the sequel Meet the Fockers was released in 2004. Then in 2010, the third movie Little Fockers hit theaters.

John Hamburg, who co-wrote the the first three movies, wrote the screenplay for the new movie and is also set to direct. Jay Roach, who directed all three prior movies, is now one of the producers.

While plot details are being kept under wraps, Universal has scheduled the movie to be released in theaters on November 25, 2026.

The new movie marks Ariana‘s first acting role since playing Glinda in 2024′s Wicked (which earned her an Oscar nod) and the sequel, Wicked: For Good, which will be released later this year.

Ben Stiller will next be appearing alongside Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2, which hits Netflix on July 25. Watch the trailer here!
