Chris Evans is selling his home for a sentimental reason.

The 43-year-old actor recently put his Los Angeles mansion on the market, which he has owned since 2013. It is currently being listed for $6.995 million, and he originally bought the house for $3.52 million.

The Captain America star’s reasoning for the decision is because he wants to spend more time on the East Coast, as he was born and raised in the Boston area.

The 4,6000 square-foot property has four bedrooms and a gym, where Chris reportedly trained for his Marvel roles. Built in the 1940s, the house also contains an outdoor pool and multiple patios.

Chris said he was drawn to the home due to its views of Mulholland and Laurel Canyons and the Santa Monica Mountains.

“Everything is gravitated toward this view,” he wrote to The Wall Street Journal, calling it “stunning and inspiring.”

Chris also extended the backyard to make to create an “entertainer’s paradise.”

Earlier this week, Chris revealed the reason he skipped the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
