Sadie Sink‘s character, Max, triumphantly returned as questions remained whether or not she’d wake from her coma.
If you don’t know, her character does still remain in a coma in Hawkins, however, it is revealed that she’s stuck inside Vecna’s mind in an alternate timeline in the 1950s.
Now, Sadie has given an interview where she was asked about two big, mysterious plot points.

First, she was asked why Vecna seems terrified of the cave she is hiding out in.
Sadie told Variety, “Well, I guess we’ll find out! That becomes a big question — but, yes, a very important, key note this season. Who knows why.”
Another big mystery: Max’s eyes.
The site asked, “Max’s eyes appear to be healed, at least on the outside, at this point — did you get clarification before filming on if she’s still blind or has regained her sight while in her coma?”
Sadie simply responded, “I did get some clarification on that, yes,” without revealing anything further.
