Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent Season 1 is coming to an end tonight (Wednesday, December 3).

The episode airs at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent already has a Season 2, and it’s coming in 2026.

The Canadian series already aired its second season in 2025, as the first season aired stateside. The CW plans to air the second season in 2026.

A specific premiere date has not yet been revealed.

“The series’ 2024 launch in Canada was the #1 primetime premiere on Citytv and was the #1 primetime debut for a drama that season. The CW has ordered two seasons of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent, with Season 2 slated to air in 2026,” The CW declared in a press release.

Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent stars Aden Young as Detective Sergeant Henry Graff and Kathleen Munroe as Detective Sergeant Frankie Bateman.

Aden is best known for his acclaimed performance in Rectify, while Kathleen recently starred in Apple TV+’s City on Fire.

The duo leads the Specialized Criminal Investigations Unit as they solve high-profile homicides across Toronto. The series puts a spotlight on psychological tactics and criminal motives, with cases tied to high finance, politics, real estate, media, and more.

They’re joined by K.C. Collins (Lost Girl) as Deputy Crown Attorney Theo Forrester and Karen Robinson (Schitt’s Creek) as Inspector Vivienne Holness.

The show also stars Nicola Correia-Damude (Shadowhunters) as Dr. Lucy Da Silva, Araya Mengesha (Anne with an E) as Mark Yohannes, and Tammy Isbell (Designated Survivor) as Detective Alice Riley.

According to USTVDB, Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent is the second most popular show on The CW and 204th overall on TV, watched by a total number of 495,000 people as of November 19.
