If you forgot, Devon starred as Ned in the Nickelodeon series, which ran from 2004 to 2007. On the show, Tylor played Martin Qwerly.

In his interview, Devon admitted that he hasn’t stayed in contact with Tylor since the show ended, but acknowledged the role that addiction and mental health struggles may have played in his former co-star’s life.

“I haven’t seen Tylor in almost 20 years since the show ended,” Devon explained. “Anyone who has dealt with severe addiction and deep mental health issues knows it’s an unbelievably challenging situation if they don’t want help.”

“It’s an everyday uphill battle to course correct,” he continued. “It requires a ton of support and patience and time.”

Devon also noted that while Tylor‘s situation should be handled with sensitivity, he hopes that the new exposure could help him out in the long-run.

“My only hope is that from this exposure, someone with real understanding and resources can step in, get Tylor into treatment, and help him get back on track,” Devon said. “We all want a happy ending.”

Tylor‘s mom also spoke out in regards to his situation.
