Although oddsmakers already pegged him as a favorite last month, there’s suddenly been another surge of bets in the past week in his favor.
Callum has been described as the “red hot” favorite by Coral bookmakers, per The Standard.
Just recently, there’s been a huge boost in bets on the actor to play James Bond, jumping from 5-2 to 7-4.
“We’ve been knocked over with support for Callum Turner in our next James Bond betting over the last 24 hours,” Coral’s John Hill told the outlet in a statement.
“The British actor is now the red-hot favourite for the role.”
Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Theo James tie at second place at at 3-1 odds, while Henry Cavill is now coming in at 6-1 behind them.
Other top picks include Anthony Boyle (10-1), Harris Dickinson (12-1), Jack Lowden (16-1), and James Norton (16-1).
