The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that Anunay Kuthiala was found unresponsive by authorities on November 4 in a room at Wynn Las Vegas.

After initially being investigated as a “possible overdose,” the Clark County Medical Examiner has confirmed his cause of death was “combined ethanol and fentanyl toxicity,” via records obtained by People.

The death was also ruled an accident.

Two women were with him the morning that he passed away, one being identified as his fiancée, the report also reveals. The three went down to the casino floor allegedly “looking to obtain some narcotics” and were sold what they thought was cocaine by a man.

There was also a “small clear bag containing an unknown white substance” and a “rolled $100 bill” in the hotel room where he was found.

Anunay was born in Delhi, India and traveled to over 46 countries and appeared on the Forbes India Top 100 Digital Stars list repeatedly, vlogging and taking photos of his adventures.

He was also co-founder of Meta Social FZ LLC, and appeared on Bigg Boss OTT 2 in August 2023, the second season of India’s digital reality show spin-off. He was the first YouTuber to vlog inside the Bigg Boss house.

Our thoughts are with Anunay’s loved ones at this incredibly difficult time. RIP.
