Wendy Williams Doesn’t Have Frontotemporal Dementia, According to a Doctor

Wendy Williams apparently does not have frontotemporal dementia.

The 61-year-old Wendy Wiliams Show reportedly underwent testing in New York City, and does not have the conditional after all, which led to her guardianship over the past three years. (The condition also does not ever improve, if you are diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.)

The neurologist concluded Wendy does not have frontotemporal dementia, and provided her legal team with the results late in October, per TMZ.

She was diagnosed with the condition in an earlier test, according to her guardian.

Wendy‘s legal team “will file legal docs with the court in the next two weeks, paving the way for a hearing where they will ask the judge to terminate the guardianship,” according to the report.

Lawyer Joe Tacopina will reportedly request a jury trial if the judge refuses to end the guardianship.

Wendy recently addressed her living conditions in a facility, calling it a “dump.”

Earlier this year, Wendy spoke about what she plans to do once her guardianship ends. The legal battle is ongoing, but the court is expected rule on her guardianship status in November.
