Kandi Burruss has split from her husband of 11 years, Todd Tucker.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star confirmed the news in a statement to People.

“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” Kandi said. “I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.”
Kandi, 49, and Todd, 52, met while she was filming season four of the Bravo reality show back in 2011 and they got married in April 2014. The couple welcomed two kids together – son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 5. They also have children from their separate previous relationships.
Despite the breakup, Kandi recently thanked Todd while accepting an award at BravoCon on November 14. She said, “To Todd, thank you for surviving the blogs the shade, the rumors, the lies, the truth, the almost fights, the actual fights, the reunions… You earned this award too.”
Next up for Kandi is her return to Broadway in the musical & Juliet beginning on December 11.
