Jodie Foster received the Tribute Award at the 2025 Marrakech International Film Festival!
The 63-year-old Vie privée (A Private Life) star accepted the prestigious award on-stage during day two of the festival on Saturday (November 29) in Marrakech, Morocco.

Jenna Ortega and Anya Taylor-Joy, who both serve on this year’s jury and walked the red carpet during the Friday night opening ceremony, were in attendance on the second day as well. Noomi Rapace was also seen on the second day’s carpet.
The actresses were joined by esteemed filmmakers like this year’s jury president Bong Joon Ho, Celine Song, Julia Ducournau, Karim Aïnouz, and actor Payman Maadi.
As part of the second day, the group participated in a jury press conference where they addressed things like the rise of AI among other hot topics.
Throughout the next week, the jury will judge 14 first and second features all vying for the Golden Star Award.
