Jenna Lyons Exits ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ After 2 Seasons

Jenna Lyons‘ time on The Real Housewives of New York City has come to an end.

In a statement shared on Instagram on Friday (November 21), the 57-year-old former executive creative director and president of J.Crew announced that she has quit the Bravo reality show after starring on two seasons.

“And after thinking it through I have made the difficult decision not return to the show,” she continued. “I would be the oldest and only openly gay woman on the show and feel like this is an opportunity for a new dynamic to emerge.”

She then went on to write, “I LOVE THE GIRLS,” naming cast members Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, and Racquel Chevremont. She noticeably didn’t mention Brynn Whitfield, who had a major falling out with the cast during season 15. Brynn announced in June that she was exiting the show.

“I have so much respect and gratitude to the Entire BRAVO team who produced the show with grace and care. I am so grateful to Andy Cohen for the opportunity and support,” Jenna continued. “I am grateful to Sezin for always treating us with so much respect and kindness. I am grateful to the entire team at SHED who handled all of our nonsense and egos with patience.”

“And most importantly to all the fans who have said hi on the street, asked for a photo, supported me here on instagram,” Jenna concluded. “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!!- it’s so incredibly meaningful. I will be watching and b-tching from the sidelines with love and outfit judgement.”

Jenna joined RHONY in 2023 for season 14 when Bravo rebooted the series.

As of right now, Bravo hasn’t announced any stars that will be appearing on season 16.

While at BravoCon 2025 last weekend, Andy addressed rumors that the new season of RHONY will be a hybrid of new and old stars.
