Ed Sheeran is letting everyone know that everything is fine between himself and Taylor Swift!
Taylor, 35, announced in August that she and Travis Kelce are engaged after two years of dating. However, Ed, 34, later revealed that he found out about the engagement through social media since he doesn’t have a cell phone and Taylor couldn’t call him to share the news.
In a new interview, Ed shared an update on his friendship with Taylor.
Keep reading to find out more…“My way of viewing it is, like, me and Taylor are mates, and I will see her,” Ed told Access Hollywood. “I saw her a week after that happened … and you talk in person.”
“I’ve actually got rid of the iPad as well, so I’m not on anything anymore,” Ed said of getting rid of both his cell phone and tablet. “I kind of feel, like, being in touch with everyone, you lose actual human connection.”
Weeks after getting engaged, Taylor finally meet up with Ed in-person.
“When I saw Taylor, we had a four-hour catch-up,” he shared. “It’s life stuff rather than, I don’t know, you know what I mean? I’m not self-conscious about my relationship with her. We’ve been friends for very, very many years [and] we’re super close.”
Ed also said he and Taylor “see each other when [they] see each other.”
“When we see each other, we lock back into where we left off, and I love it,” he added.
In another recent interview, Ed revealed the one person’s feedback that could “kill” one of his songs.
