Billy Crudup is one proud dad!
In a new interview, the 57-year-old Emmy-winning actor shared some very rare comments about his ex Mary-Louise Parker as he gushed over their 21-year-old son William.
Keep reading to find out more…“Well, without commenting on any of our … Our adoration for our son is boundless,” Billy told The Times when asked if he and the 61-year-old Weeds actress are on better terms over 20 years after their split.
Billy added of William, who is an actor and director, “He has, through the mash-up of the two of us, been endowed with superpowers for theatricality. He’s such a badass. Mary-Louise and I appeared in most of his films.”
If you didn’t know, Billy and Mary-Louise started dating in 1996 after they met while co-starring in the Broadway play Bus Stop. Mary-Louise was seven months pregnant with William when Billy left her to pursue a relationship with Stage Beauty co-star Claire Danes.
Mary-Louise gave birth to William in January 2004 and Billy went public with his relationship with Claire that same year. They later split in 2007. Billy has been married to Naomi Watts since 2023.
In another recent interview, Billy shared how he and Naomi support each other’s careers.
