Antonio Brown Extradited From Dubai, Arrested & Facing Attempted Murder Charge

The 37-year-old retired NFL player was extradited and sent from Dubai back to the United States this week, according to a new report.

The news comes nearly six months after he was accused to attempted murder of a man at a boxing event in Florida.

He was allegedly trying to avoid the charges in the United Arab Emirates, per TMZ.

According to the report, he was taken to New York City by federal agents and given to authorities, who sent him back to Florida. Now, he’s in the custody of the Miami-Dade Department of Corrections.

Antonio is facing one count of attempted second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.

“The minimum prison sentence for attempted second degree murder is typically set at 10.5 years, but it can extend up to life imprisonment depending on the circumstances of the case,” per Leppard Law.

A warrant obtained by the Washington Post states a video showed Antonio punching a man before stealing a gun from a security guard and running toward him. Get a full breakdown.
