‘Southern Charm’ Alum Kathryn Dennis Receives Jail Time in DUI Case

Kathryn Dennis has been convicted in her DUI case.

If you didn’t know, the 34-year-old Southern Charm alum was arrested in May 2024 after being involved in a three-car collision where she appeared impaired in South Carolina. She was then booked for a DUI and for driving with an open container.

On Friday (October 3), Kathryn was convicted and received a jail sentence.

Keep reading to find out more…Kathryn was sentenced to 30 days in the Berkeley County jail, according to Page Six. She was taken in to custody on Friday at 6:54 p.m. local time in South Carolina, per the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office inmate records.

If you didn’t know, Kathryn has had substance abuse struggles in the past, losing custody of her children with ex and former co-star Thomas Ravenel in 2016, after testing positive for marijuana and entering rehab. He reportedly gained full custody in 2023.

The two have were in an on-and-off relationship for several years, and welcomed their children, Kensington and Saint, in 2014 and 2015, respectively. They split in 2016.

She left Southern Charm in 2023 after 8 seasons on the show.
