Sara Bareilles and Joe Tippett have just tied the knot!
The 45-year-old “Love Song” superstar songwriter and the 43-year-old Mare of Easttown actor confirmed the happy news on social media on Tuesday (October 7).

“We did a big thing. I will just say I love this man and I love the community who came to hold us up. I am feeling so lucky and so grateful. ❤️,” Sara captioned a photo carousel on Instagram, featuring a photo of the two kissing, as well as a glimpse of the beautiful outdoor ceremony.
Two weeks before, Joe shared a photo of Sara as they visited the City Clerk Marriage License department, teasing their upcoming wedding.
“Getting some property assessed,” he wrote in the caption.
The two first met in 2015 while working together on Sara‘s musical Waitress during its out-of-town tryout at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Mass. She wrote the music for the Broadway show, and later starred in the musical as well.
Joe originated the role of Earl in the pre-Broadway run in summer 2015.
The couple started dating at the end of the run, made their first public appearance at the 2018 Tony Awards, and got engaged in 2023.
