Ryan Seacrest has shared some devastating news.
On Friday (October 31), the 50-year-old Wheel of Fortune host announced that his dad Gary Lee Seacrest has passed away. Earlier this year, Ryan revealed that his dad was battling prostate cancer.
Keep reading to find out more…“It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that my loving father peacefully passed away earlier this week,” Ryan wrote. “My mom, sister and I have peace knowing he is in a better place and free of any pain or suffering. We are heartbroken.”
Along with his message, Ryan shared photos of Gary with their family, including wife Constance Marie Zullinger, Ryan’s sister Meredith Seacrest, her husband Jimmy Leach and their daughter Flora.
“He was a devoted husband for 56 years, an incredible Papa to Flora, and my best friend,” Ryan continued. “Dad you will live in our hearts forever. I love you.”
