Lauren Jauregui is speaking out to “expand” on her thoughts after her one-word reaction to being eliminated during the third week of Dancing With the Stars.
Fans were shocked to see the 29-year-old Fifth Harmony singer eliminated so quickly into the season and she very candidly said on live television that she was “pissed” about the outcome.
Lauren was tied at the bottom of the scoreboard during this week’s episode, alongside comedian Andy Richter. He clearly received more votes from the audience though and got to continue on in the competition.
In an Instagram post on Thursday (October 2), Lauren shared her expanded thoughts.

“Hi there friends🥲 what an absolute whirlwind of an experience this was! There really aren’t many words to describe all of the different emotions that ran through me but I did want to expand on just being ‘pissed’ because lol please don’t ever put a mic in my face right after I get eliminated off of something on national television😭,” Lauren began.
She continued, “I’m a competitive girly through and through and honestly, I wish I could’ve ended on a much higher note than that night & that was the true source of my frustration (also knowing my coven & the harmonizers definitely did NOT fail me as far as voting goes but whateva lol). Im so grateful my girls were there!”
“I am so beyond grateful for this insane past month of my life— I have met such wonderful people and got to be a part of something that is so truly special. The entire team of cast & crew on this show was an absolute dream to be around and a part of!” Lauren said. “This was one of the most joyful moments I’ve gotten to collect in my memory box and was such an amazing opportunity for me to reconnect with my absolute love of dance and connection with my body.”
Lauren wishes she got to experience more of the season though.
“I feel like I had so much more to give but I am so grateful for the experience regardless and really grateful I got to give you guys a taste of who I am and what im capable of✨,” she said. “I couldn’t have asked for a better partner @brandonarmstrong you are such a solid human and such an incredible dance partner🫂 thank you for making this experience what it was, for challenging me, supporting me, uplifting my essence and for always being ready af to crack a joke w a bitch 😂 we had a ball in the ballroom, darling!”
She added, “I will miss this a lot, I really wasn’t ready to go, but alas! The fates have decided and I’m off to finish up this music for you to have your next meal🥰 thank you to everyone who voted for me, prayed or sent love my way! Hasta la próxima!! Fun fact: I actually broke my phone right before the show began on Tuesday and it didn’t get fixed until last night, so I’m sorry for not having posted sooner. I won’t lie though, it was kinda nice to unplug from the internet and all of the swirling opinions for the past 24 hours. Thanks again for the love💃🏻.”
There’s a viral video spreading from this week’s DWTS episode.
