Kate McKinnon is headed to the Percy Jackson world!
The 41-year-old Barbie star has just been announced to join the cast of the upcoming third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Disney+, according to Variety.

Kate is the fifth new addition to the cast for season three, where she will serve as a recurring guest star as Aphrodite, the Goddess of love and beauty.
According to the character description, she “can alter her appearance depending on the beholder” and “must be sure that Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) respects the power and importance of love before she agrees to offer aid on his quest.”
Kate will join returning stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri and more in season three, as well as previously announced new additions Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry, as well as Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians season three is currently in production, while season two will debut on Disney+ in December!
