“Actually Romantic” is going to be the subject of a ton of speculation because Taylor Swift is seemingly singing about a former friend on the track.
Fans believe that the song is about Charli XCX, who actually opened for Taylor on the Reputation Stadium Tour back in 2018.

There have been rumors that Charli‘s song “Sympathy is a Knife” is about Taylor and she alludes to this on “Actually Romantic.
