Elijah Wood just made some Lord of the Rings fans’ dreams come true!
The 44-year-old actor, who played Frodo Baggins in the series, was at the location of The Shire where he unexpectedly crashed a LOTR-themed wedding happening in Matamata, New Zealand.

In a video that’s gone viral on social media, Elijah can be seen in a jacket and jeans strolling through the ceremony’s aisle, up to the ecstatic bride and the groom.
“This is amazing, and everyone is dressed as hobbits!” he noted.
He also posed for photos with the couple, as the crowd slowly reacted and marveled at the scene, realizing who it was.

The Shire is considered to be the homeland of the Hobbits in the fictional Middle-earth. Today, the location has since been turned into Hobbiton, an official attraction, featuring guided tours. Peter Jackson would later return in 2009 to film The Hobbit trilogy and left 44 reconstructed Hobbit dwellings, per EW.
