Cruz Beckham has dropped his new song “Optics” and he’s denying that the song is about sex, despite the very racy lyrics.
The 20-year-old musician, who is the song of David and Victoria Beckham, sings about “good head,” “an erotic 69,” and taking a “thousand selfies in your bed” on the new track.
A critic wrote on Cruz‘s Instagram post, “I don’t understand why your first song had to be about sex, you could’ve written about anything and you decided to go gruesome, keep it PG sunshine.”
Cruz clapped back in the comments.

“Actually, this song isn’t about sex. It’s about perception vs reality. It’s about the optics of present time, how everything is not what it seems, how we judge others and situations just from what we see and learning to care more about oneself and those closest to you than what strangers think. Ironically, also there’s nothing wrong with good sex,” he said.
The lyrics sure sound like he’s singing about sex, but you have to look at it with a different lens.
Cruz sings, “Take a thousand selfies in your bed while I trip in mine / I love me some mushrooms and good head and an erotic 69.”
He also sings in the chorus, “Stay high fashion, no comedown, no crashing / But you wanna know how it looks, I wanna know how it feels.”
Cruz‘s girlfriend recently addressed criticism over their age gap.
