Chris Pine is set to star in the upcoming indie movie Carousel alongside Jenny Slate.
The movie will be written and directed by Rachel Lambert, who previously made the 2023 dark comedy Sometimes I Think About Dying with Daisy Ridley.

Deadline reports that not much is known about the plot of the movie, other than that it will be a “love story.” The movie has already wrapped production and was filmed in Cleveland, Ohio.
Other cast members include Abby Ryder Fortson, Sam Waterston, Katey Sagal, Helene Yorke, Jessica Harper, and Jeffrey DeMunn.
It was also recently announced that Chris will star in an alien invasion movie that has a star-studded cast.
