Several RuPaul’s Drag Race alums have been cast in an upcoming action-comedy movie!
Three winners and four additional stars are set to join RuPaul in the new movie, which is being directed by frequent guest judge Adam Shankman.
This will also mark the first-ever theatrical movie from the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe!

All Stars 10 winner Ginger Minj, season 13 winner Symone, All Stars 4 winner Monet X Change are all joining the cast, along with frequent contestant Jujubee, season 11 competitor and Canada’s Drag Race host Brooke Lynn Hytes, season four and All Star 1′s Latrice Royale, and season 15 competitor Marcia Marcia Marcia!
The upcoming movie is being produced by Drag Race production company World of Wonder, with Bleecker Street and Universal Pictures Content Group, who has recently acquired international rights.
The yet-to-be-titled film follows “best friends Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee), train stewardesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Rail for the glitzy Glamazonian Express. When a catastrophic “Stormaganza” threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash it into Los Angeles, the duo in coach must join forces with the snobby first class attendants (Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Latrice Royale) and President Gagwell (RuPaul) to save the day in this wild ride of camp and comedy. ”
If you didn’t know, Marcia Marcia Marcia, whose real name is Marty Lauter, recently starred on Broadway in the Cabaret revival, where they understudied the lead role of the Emcee.
