President Donald Trump is attending the 2025 U.S. Open.
The 79-year-old President of the United States departed the White House and headed to New York to attend the open on Sunday (September 7) at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York City.
While in attendance, he sat with several members of the White House staff and family members. They listened to the singing of the National Anthem before the start of the U.S. Open men’s singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, White House deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, his granddaughter Arabella Kushner and Former Senior Advisor to the President and son-in-law Jared Kushner were all in attendance alongside the President.
It marked his first U. S. Open appearance in a decade, and caused a delay in the final by 30 minutes due to heightened security, causing long lines.
No sitting United States president has gone to the U.S. Open since Bill Clinton in 2000.
There were cheers and boos when he was shown on the jumbotron, but event organizers asked broadcasters not to show disruptions tied to his visit, via The Independent.
Trump attended as a guest of Rolex, despite recently imposing a nearly 40% tariff on Swiss goods, via USA Today.
