The second-to-last episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty has everyone buzzing, considering all the twists and turns the Prime Video series is taking ahead of the series finale.

The story jumped ahead three months into the future between episodes 9 and 10, with Belly (Lola Tung) now living in Paris, taking on two jobs, attending online school, and figuring out her future.
Back at home, Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) struggled to move on after calling off his wedding to Belly, and reconciled with his brother Conrad (Christopher Briney).
Fans of Jenny Han‘s books got a treat when we see Conrad’s heartfelt letters to Belly.
Meanwhile, she continued to live her Parisian lifestyle and grow even closer to a new love interest, Benito (Fernando Cattori).
Belly decides to extend her stay in Paris, and after she finally sends Conrad a postcard, in a huge departure from the books, he takes it as a sign to board a plane to Paris to see her before the finale on September 17.
In the books, Conrad and Belly didn’t meet again until she returned from France. We’ll have to wait and see how the story ends in the finale episode!
The author of the books previously teased that the show is not going to play out exactly as fans of the series will recognize.
