Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri were noticeably missing from the 2025 Emmy Awards.
The two lead stars of The Bear both decided to skip the awards show on Sunday night (September 14) despite being nominated.
Jeremy, 34, was nominated for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series while Ayo, 29, was actually nominated for two awards – Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. Sadly Jeremy and Ayo did not win.

According to E! News, Ayo missed the event due to a scheduling conflict as she’s currently filming in Japan.
While Jeremy and Ayo skipped the Emmys, many of their co-stars on The Bear were in attendance.
Ebon Moss-Bachrach with wife Yelena Yemchuk, Molly Gordon, Abby Elliott, Liza Colon-Zayas and husband David Zayas, Lionel Boyce, Edwin Lee Gibson, and Matty Matheson with wife Trish Spencer were all at the big event representing the show.
