Steve Martin, Selena Gomez and Martin Short all swapped voices, along with Jimmy Fallon, during the cold open on The Tonight Show!
The Only Murders in the Building stars and the host had each other’s voices in multiple swaps during a sketch at the start of Tuesday night’s (September 9) episodes.

In the sketch, Jimmy walked in the room with the OMITB stars and expressed his excitement for them stopping by the show, which Steve called a contractual obligation. The host then said, “Hey, here’s to a great show, hands in!” as they all put their hands together in the center and an “earthquake” like event happens.
“Whoa, that was weird,” Selena says, discovering she has Steve‘s voice. They all go around learning whose voice they have, and they repeat it a few times before almost all of them are back to normal. Watch here!
Also during their appearance, Selena, Steve and Martin played a game of catchphrase with Jimmy.
In addition, they of course promoted the upcoming fifth season of Only Murders in the Building, talked about filming and touring, Selena‘s upcoming wedding and more.
At the beginning of their sit down interview, Steve and Martin made jokes about Jimmy being in the Epstein files, and his smile being like an email from Donald Trump – all caps. Check out the full appearance right here!
