Miranda Cosgrove is revealing where her friendship with Jennette McCurdy stands.
The 32-year-old actress rose to fame playing the lead role of Carly Shay on the Nickelodeon series iCarly. Jennette, 33, played the role of her best friend Sam on the series.
While speaking to People recently, Miranda shared an update on her friendship with Jennette.

“I’ll always love them, and they’ll always be family to me, because we grew up together for so many years,” Miranda told the publication, speaking about her relationship with Jennette and their fellow iCarly star Nathan Kress.
On their friendship now, Miranda admits that she doesn’t see Jennette as often as when they were teenagers. Despite not being as close as they were, Miranda has nothing but love for her former co-star.
“I always know she’s out there, and that if I really needed her I could call her, and I hope she knows the same. … I’m always going to be cheering for her,” Miranda told People.
Jennette has shifted her focus to writing instead of acting in recent years, which Miranda also shared her thoughts on.
“And I feel like that’s amazing, because her path led her to the thing that she loves. So I’m really happy for her,” Miranda told the publication.
