There’s some news about Jimmy Kimmel‘s staff amid his suspension from ABC.
While the show is not airing right now and there’s no sign of a resolution happening at the moment, the staff will be paid for the upcoming week.
Deadline reports that the ABC show sent out a note to staff on Friday (September 19) to make sure the workers knew they’d be compensated for the lost hours.
Another report revealed where Jimmy‘s mind is at right now amid the conversations about returning to ABC.

Variety reports that “Kimmel is mindful of the effects a shutdown would have on dozens of his production staffers as well as vendors in Los Angeles who work on the show” and that he is “also aware some staff and crew members are still digging out of the financial hole created by the months-long writers and actors strikes in 2023.”
It sounds like Jimmy is hopeful to return to late night to make sure his staff still has jobs.
