“There’s people from all over the world in this program. And you know a lot of…there’s a lot of future politicians,” she explained to Seth Meyers.

“There’s a lot of politicians from their countries there right now. I’m not there to be a politician. I’m there to fight politicians,” she clarified.

Seth also asked her about her classmates noticing the acclaimed actress, to which she said that while there were “some selfies and stuff” on the first day, no one has “made a big deal out of it.”

“I’m the first person in my family to go to college. And for so much of my life I thought, you know, it’s the cycle of your family. I thought I wasn’t very smart, and I didn’t think school was for me. And I just love it,” she added.

She also noted one exchange she had with her partner from India in a quantitative methods class.

“She goes, ‘Have you been in something I might have seen?’ And I go well, ‘Do you like science fiction?’ She said, ‘Yes.’ I was like, ‘I was in a movie called Interstellar,’ and she looked at me and she goes, ‘That’s my favorite movie,’ ” she said. Watch the appearance above!
