Wide receiver Rashee Rice, who wears number 4 for the Chiefs, was involved in a six-car accident that took place in March of 2024. The NFL ended up suspending him for six games in the 2025 season for violating the personal conduct policy.
In addition, he was sentenced to 30 nights in jail.
There were several people reportedly injured in the crash, and reports indicate Rashee did not check on their welfare after it happened.
He did release a statement to apologize, via the NFL, “Last March, I was involved in a high-speed accident in Dallas. There have been a lot of sleepless nights thinking about the damages that my actions caused, and I will continue working within my means to make sure that everyone impacted will be made whole. I urge everyone to mind the speed limit, drive safe and drive smart. Last and certainly not least, I am profoundly sorry for the physical damages to person and property. I fully apologize for the harm I caused to innocent drivers and their families.”
